Third Fork Creek restoration has finally started. I met Harvey McQueen who says he'll be on the site every day. So if you have problems or questions, he should be able to answer them.
I'm going to try to keep up with this on a weekly basis in photos. So if all goes well, there will be 12 installments here over time. They say it will take 90 days but I'm betting it won't happen that fast. We'll see. Just my prediction. When it's done, the creek and the Park should look alot different. More than 1700 new trees and plants. Here (A, B) is the complete proposed plantform map in two parts. It shows the new route of the creek, the new plantings, and where various other structures are located. I've added road names to help you see where items are located.
All photo links will create a new window.

And then the rains from Ivan hit us again with more water.
This is about where I had computer problems and got behind. I have almost 100 photos of the restoration that aren't loaded yet. I am trying to figure out a way to put it all together (since I lost track of the weeks when the computers went on the fritz). When i figure it out, I'll finish this section. Okay.
About 96% of the work has been completed as of 1/15/05. Some work will have to wait until spring to finish (primarily finishing the landscaping).
