Construction has started on the connector ramp from the American Tobacco Trail (ATT) to the top side of Beverly Drive. From there, bikers and walkers will have easier access to the Apex Street Bridge and Forest Hills Park areas. This is the first (and only) intersection of the new ATT to the old existing Bike Route through the City of Durham. To the best of my knowledge, this will be the only place the two trails will intersect since one is an east/west trail and the other goes north to south.
